For too long, too many residents of Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties have had to travel outside the area for essential cancer care. With the help of our generous donor community, Sutter Health is dramatically expanding access to care in the region with the new Jean and E. Floyd Kvamme Advanced Cancer Center—a state-of-the-art facility fully equipped to deliver world-class cancer care and support, close to home.

The Kvamme Advanced Cancer Center will be one of the region’s most comprehensive sites for the care and support of patients across their cancer journeys from diagnosis through survivorship—offering the latest technologies to detect, diagnose, and treat cancer, along with a full range of programs to enhance the wellbeing of patients and families—all right next to the acclaimed Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center.
